Our 2-star Guesthouse is located in the region of Los Montes de Toledo. It was built in 1937 and completely modified in 2002. In other words, we have more than 80 years of experience and 3 generations dedicated to the hospitality business. You will enjoy an exceptional experience

Rooms

The Guesthouse has capacity for 26 people distributed in 14 rooms, 12 of which are doubles and two of which are singles. To be more comfortable, we also have cradles for babies. Our bedrooms have full bathrooms, television and air-conditioning system

Other facilities

In the “Casa Apelio” Guesthouse – Restaurant, we also have 2 social halls for 80 and 45 people, respectively. This makes it a perfect place to celebrate communions, baptisms and birthdays, in a place surrounded by tradition, a friendly service to make you feel at home, with good homemade food, it is also ideal as a business center or any other important event, where your guests will enjoy the best treatment, gastronomy and rest.

Useful tourist information

We find the historical and extensive town of Los Yébenes at the south of the
mountain located 42 km from Toledo, a town full of history and adventures,
through the years, people has found rock painting, remains of the Roman road that crossed it, castles and fortresses of Arabs and Christians.

Among the most important building that you need to visit, you will find the Santa Maria church which has a magnificent altarpiece of carved wood and in which a thorn from the crown of Jesus Christ has been preserved.

Beside of Santa Maria church, there is the San Juan Bautista Church, which
shows the great evolution of this beautiful town of Toledo with its tower-bell (Both of them were built in the sixteenth century)

You also will be able to enjoy the civil architecture that we have in Los Yébenes as El Palacio de la Encomienda de San Juan and the ruins of the Guadalerzas castle. Los Yébenes is a town with one of the largest extensions in Spain, it is known mainly for its hunting people, lovers of hunting and nature.

Rural house “Aires monteños”

If you are looking for a more private environment to immerse yourself even more in the tradition of our town, you need to visit The Rural House “Aires Monteños” (Apelio Group). A rural house decorated with all typical elements of the area, with a rustic atmosphere that will make you feel a family and exceptional experience. A big house (up to 8 people) and a special building, with a wide wooden stairway that lead to the house, its corridor to access the rooms, its two halls and a garden with swimming pool. It is an ideal place to enjoy with the family of the privacy with a touch of our land.

It is a municipal property in our town in which any person, company, school or city halls can enjoy outdoor activities, with fun activities of animation, bouncy castles and many other activities for the smallest of the house can enjoy an unforgettable experience. The best time of the year is the fall season, at that season there is a phenomenon appreciated by many: the bellowing. Time when the deer go into heat and with their guttural screams, they try to conquer the largest number of hinds.

This visual and sound show which has these full and covered landscapes of forest and mountain that nature offers us, with its main character and animator: the king of the woods (the deer) showing his power, fighting and defending his place in time of mating, makes it the perfect excuse to get away a weekend to Los Yébenes.

Many people come to see the bellowing to Los Montes de Toledo in fall season, because it is one of the most emblematic places to enjoy this nature show.
